At Scholastic we want to get children reading and to support teachers.

We publish great Children’s Books and inspiring and time-saving Teacher’s Resources and Magazines.

We offer school Book Clubs and Book Fairs that give every child the chance to enjoy reading and provide free books to schools.

We're celebrating

The National Year of Reading

2008 National Year of Reading

It’s time for some glitz and glamour this month, with a theme of Screen Reads.

We’re offering a Watch the Film, Read the Book pack in celebration. Containing 12 books that have been adapted for the big screen, it’s a red carpet full of fiction’s superstars.

Hot off the press…

In the beginning was the word and the word is ours...

Children’s Laureate Michael Rosen has generously created and donated, for the National Year of Reading (and for children everywhere), this spectacular poem. Why not create your own verses celebrating the kinds of words you like most?
